Who leads CCCC – and what is the mission?

CCCC is led by a multidisciplinary management team representing oncology, nursing, surgery, and research across Herlev and Gentofte Hospital and Rigshospitalet. Together, they ensure close integration of clinical care, research, and leadership to continuously improve cancer care.



The day‑to‑day management of CCCC consists of two Chief Physicians and two Chief Nurses from the Department of Oncology at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital and at Rigshospitalet, as well as the Chief Surgeon from the Department of Breast Surgery at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital, and a Professor of Clinical Oncology and Precision Medicine from the Department of Oncology at Rigshospitalet.

The day‑to‑day management is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment across departments and hospitals and for driving high‑quality cancer care, now and in the future.​
