Research - a core focus area

Research is a core focus area of CCCC, and we believe, that high quality research is the prerequisite for optimal treatment and care. In addition, research ensures that CCCC rethinks the efforts made towards cancer patients and their relatives.

The ambitions of CCCC for the 4 core focus areas.

Our aim is that all patients with a cancer disease should have the opportunity to be included in a research protocol in the CCCC.

Our clinical research portfolio for studies with antineoplastic treatment should span broadly from early phase 1 trials to clinical studies in phase 2 and 3. Research within all aspects of cancer treatment and care will be prioritized, which will furthermore include trials in radiotherapy, genomic sequencing, personalized medicine, nurse-led studies, palliative medicine/care, rehabilitation, late effects after treatment, cancer-survivorship, etc.

The accreditation of CCCC improves our European and International networks and these collaboration opportunities will allow us to attract additional and greater research grants to the center.
