At Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine nurses are involved in clinical research. In line with the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine mission for nursing, research is conducted to support evidence-based nursing. Nurses are involved in research projects within most of the department's specialties and conduct either mono- or interdisciplinary projects. Some projects are initiated and led by nurses and in other projects, nurses assist in the research process. Research active nurses, of course, present their results - both nationally and internationally.
The Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine has a research responsible nurse conducting own research projects and guiding other nurses in connection with research and/or development projects.
Our clinical nursing specialists all have master degrees and work with their own development- and research initiative and are responsible for promoting professionalism and quality in the continuity of care in Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
