EIBIR

The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR), created by The European Association of Radiology, was established to broaden the scope of a European network, to encourage excellence in basic and clinical imaging research, and to create opportunities for research education and research funding. EIBIR is part of a larger European programme in so far as they are co-funded by the Sixth Framework Programme.

The headquarters of EIBIR is located in Vienna and currently has around 200 member institutions, which include such leading places as:

Humboldt University Berlin (Germany)
University Hospital Freiburg (Germany)
Max-Planck-Institute for Neurological Research (Germany)
