Courses at DIMS

DIMS offers a broad range of courses focusing on the training of specialist competences as well as decision-making processes and cooperation within specialist groups or multidisciplinary teams.
DIMS is one of the few simulation institutes in the world providing compulsory courses to residents with simulation as an integrated part. Moreoever, nurses and doctors can enroll in simulation-based specialist anaesthetic and intensive care training at DIMS. In addition, DIMS offers courses that are tailored to individual demands.

Our courses have in common:

  • a pedagogical approach that focuses on the individual's learning needs
  • a thorough evaluation process to ensure that the courses' aims are met and to ensure a high level of satisfaction among the participants
  • a structure based on pedagogical principles as well as simulation and debriefing
  • practical skills training

 

DIMS provides courses for specialist groups, courses for personell from the same occupational group but differing specialities as well as multidisceplinary courses that include personell from diverse occupational groups and diverse specialities.

  • anaesthesiology

  • orthopedic surgery
  • gynaecology
  • obstetrics
  • paediatrics
  • the prehospital field
