The Danish Health Service in 2006 published pamphlets with advice on how to stop smoking. Available in several languages.

Information in general for ethnic minorities


The Danish organisation FINFO is provided by the Danish Library Centre for Integration, and offers you a closer look at eight topical issues that are of concern to ethnic minorities in Denmark.

Visit FINFO´s homepage on healthcare to learn about the Danish health system in your own language (English, Bosnian, Somali, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Vietnamese, Albanian).

The Danish health system (2006)

This booklet which is about the Danish health system was prepared by the Danish Cancer Society in collaboration with "Sundhedsstyrelsen". The booklet has been prepared in Danish and multiple foreign languages so it can be used in conjunction with advice and guidance of ethnic minorities.
The pamphlet can be read in Somali, Turkish, Farsi, Urdu, Arabic og English and Bosnian / Serbian / Croatian.
